(© Joseph Marzullo/WENN) | Tony Award-winning playwright David Henry Hwang and The English Patient author Michael Ondaatje will be among the participants in Page Turner: The Asian American Literary Festival at the Asian American Writers Workshop, November 13-14.
The festival will kick off with a cocktail reception and gala dinner at Vermilion on November 13 beginning at 7pm. The evening will feature Ondaatje, and honor Sonny Mehta with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Participants in the festival will also include Pulitzer Prize-winner Jhumpa Lahiri, Ed Park, Amitava Kumar, Alexander Chee, Julie Otsuka, Jen Kwok, Sree Sreenivasan, Ed Lin, Porochista Khakpour, Hari Kunzru, and more. The festivities will culminate in the presentation of the 12th Annual Asian- American Literary Awards, followed by a cocktail reception.
